今日は節分ですね。
原田泰治が描いた長野県塩尻市の節分の絵があります。
原田泰治が描いた夜の絵は珍しいので　この機会に載せてみます。

[節分] 長野県 塩尻市 1984[昭和59年]

「福は内、鬼は外」と叫びながら豆をまく節分の行事は、その地方によってさまざまだ。
塩尻市片丘では、今でもかまどの燃えさしの火で、くしに刺したニボシをあぶって、
「米の虫、アワの虫、みんなじゃじゃ」と唱えたあと玄関におく風習がいまだに残っている。

“Out with evil and in with fortune” goes the cry during the bean-throwing

festival of Setsubun. Though celebrated nationwide, variations exist in

every region. In Kataoka of Shiojiri, people invoke a unique chant while

roasting small sardines that get skewered and placed outside their doorstep.

It is a supplication for a good rice harvest.
